Chickens and the rescue Hound a year later

Huckleberry in his backyard

Barb, Freckles and Pippi

I feel like Barb is in charge of the girls

Barb just has that look of knowing

So thin and bony

Huckleberry
was so skinny

Not anymore

He no longer has accidents in the house

He is very loving  and loved

He really is a sweet boy

4 little chickens moved in

A few posts back last year we visited the Portage Bay Grange, well, we took the leap and we now are raising 4 young chickens from their stock. They have personalities and social situations and nestle up together like a little family, these girls are great!  They could really have a blog all for themselves hahaha!

Girls in their new home

Sam our Araucana

Freckle our White laced Wyandotte

Barb our Australorp

Birds Eye View

Its not easy to catch them all looking the same way at once.

So ya know, chicken butts

Within a couple weeks and they look so little back then

and of course Pippi our Rhode Island Red is leaning out of this shot

learning their new ramp, it is now poopy too hahahaha

starfish art

A photo of the starfish I love to sew up.

This is just a test to see if I remember how to blog.
It's only been a year.
A transitional year of our empty nest reversal.
Full house, new pets too.
Our cats now have
Chickens, a rescue Hound, rescue lab Mice sisters,
Fish Fish and more Fish, House plants and
Our daughters, for as long as we get them to stay,
for we will be moving
somewhere
within the next year
or so
